Columbus-Based Engineering Firm Announces New Logo

COLUMBUS, OH - December 30, 1999 - National Engineering, a rising Columbus-based mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering firm, has just announced their new company logo design.

The firm, founded in early March, held a logo competition in October that was announced to The Ohio State University and Columbus College of Art and Design, as well as the public.

On Novermber 19, National Engineering chose the submission from Randy Miller of TRIAD Architects Inc. as the winning logo. Miller was awarded $500.

"The goal of the competition was not only good wil but to come up with a new identifying logo that is alive with the coming of the new millennium," said National Engineering President Richard Jones.

Jones said the firm wanted to update their logo to illustrate their modern and professional demeanor. They chose Miller's logo because of its distinct and unique style that will clearly identify their firm.

National Engineering focuses on the needs of clients through listening and garnering a mutual understanding of client's needs; developing programs of appropriate engineering services tailored to clients' desires and budgets; and performing work in a timely manner.
